How Site Maple Path collects, uses, and protects personal data under Korean privacy law.

1. Scope

This policy describes how we handle personal data when you visit sitemaplepath.click, submit inquiries, or attend cataloging sessions.

2. Data we collect

Website inquiries: name, email, message content, service selection, preferred dates.
Session clients: contact details, appointment history, scope notes, vault coordinates, ledger reference codes. We do not record seed phrase text in our systems.
Technical data: server logs (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) and optional analytics cookies if you accept them.

3. Purposes of processing

Scheduling and delivering services, responding to inquiries, invoicing, legal compliance, website security, and—only with cookie consent—aggregated traffic analysis.

Contract performance for booked services, legitimate interests for website operation and security, consent for non-essential cookies, and legal obligation where Korean law requires retention.

5. Retention

Inquiry form submissions: 24 months unless an engagement follows, in which case data merges into client records. Client session notes: 7 years after last engagement unless you request earlier deletion and no legal hold applies. Server logs: 90 days. Cookie consent records: 12 months.

6. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Processors may include hosting providers, email services, and payment processors bound by confidentiality agreements. We may disclose data when required by Korean authorities under lawful process.

7. International transfers

Our primary hosting may involve servers outside Korea. When data crosses borders, we apply appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or provider certifications consistent with Korean PIPA requirements.

8. Your rights

Under applicable Korean law you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection to certain processing, and withdraw cookie consent at any time. Contact us to exercise rights. You may lodge a complaint with the Personal Information Protection Commission (PIPC).

9. Security

We use TLS for website traffic, access controls on client records, and staff training on confidentiality. No method of storage is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

Services are not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
