Refund Policy

Effective date: 1 January 2025

Scope

This policy applies to in-person cataloging, vault mapping, documentation review, and workshop sessions booked with Site Maple Path Co., Ltd. It does not cover third-party fees (bank vault charges, travel tickets you purchase separately, or estate attorney services).

Deposits

We require a 30% deposit to confirm sessions scheduled more than 14 days in advance. Deposits are applied to your final invoice.

Full refund of deposit

You may cancel and receive a full deposit refund if you notify us at least 7 calendar days before the scheduled session start time. Refunds process within 10 business days to your original payment method.

Partial refund or credit

Cancellations 3–6 days before the session receive a 50% deposit credit toward a future booking within 6 months, or a 50% deposit refund upon request. Cancellations within 48 hours of the session forfeit the deposit unless we can fill the slot with another client.

Session-day cancellation

If you cancel on the day of service after our staff has traveled to your location, the deposit and any quoted travel fees are non-refundable. If we cancel due to staff illness or force majeure, you receive a full refund or priority rebooking.

Rescheduling

One free reschedule is permitted when requested at least 5 days before the appointment. Additional reschedules within the same booking may incur a ₩30,000 administrative fee.

Completed sessions

Fees for completed sessions are non-refundable. If you believe ledger or map deliverables materially fail the agreed scope, notify us within 7 days with specific deficiencies. We will offer a correction session at no charge or a partial refund proportional to unmet scope—never exceeding 30% of session fees.

Non-refundable items

Bound ledger materials prepared before cancellation, third-party vault access fees, express shipping for heir copies, and supplemental scheduling surcharges for sub-48-hour bookings.

No-shows

Clients who do not arrive within 30 minutes of the scheduled start without notice forfeit the deposit and any travel fees.

Work already started

For multi-day engagements, fees for days already performed are non-refundable. Remaining days may be cancelled under the deposit rules above.

Purchased materials

Archival binders, map tubes, and color tab sets issued at session start are non-refundable once customized with your reference codes.

How to request a refund

Email contact@sitemaplepath.click with your booking reference, session date, and reason. We confirm eligibility within 3 business days. Approved refunds return to the original payment method within 10 business days.
