Extended account: dual-location catalog
A client held identical metal backups in a home safe and a sibling’s apartment in Daegu. Neither party had a shared index. Over two sessions—one in Seoul, one in Daegu—we created matching ledger pages, assigned consistent reference codes (BK-01 through BK-04), and drafted a one-page heir summary in Korean and English.
The client requested that we not record serial numbers of hardware devices. We documented wallet roles (daily spending, cold storage, inheritance) and storage coordinates only. Follow-up six months later added a fifth backup after a wallet migration; we appended rather than replaced the original ledger to preserve audit history.
